Creative Thinking & Interdisciplinary Collaboration

August 1st-5th,  2022

Learn how to apply the theory and practice of creative thinking into your personal and professional life

Knowinnovation has been using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) to design and deliver its Ideas Lab-style  workshops for over 20 years. This workshop, which is only available to Federal staff, will teach the fundamental principles of CPS to Program Directors etc., in order for them to be able to incorporate this type of thinking in their work.

Course Description

The course blends theory and practice in exploring  the science of creativity, developing creative potential, and learning to use Creative Problem Solving (CPS) individually and with groups.  By the end of the course, participants will be able to apply the CPS framework and tools on challenges, goals, and opportunities that people face in their personal and professional lives.

In addition, participants will be invited to join a community of practitioners that will continue to build their skills, and contribute new insights regarding creative collaboration in interdisciplinary research.

The course will be delivered in both in-person and virtual formats. Each cohort will have their own instructors, and both cohorts will spend time collaborating in a hybrid format.
