The Center for Quantum Sensing is holding a virtual Innovation Lab to generate proposals in the Quantum Sensing space. These sensors rely on the often behavior of subatomic particles, where the classical assumptions of Newtonian physics cease to exist. Some believe these sensors could do everything from change the way we detect disease to improve our capabilities to predict earthquakes. The event will consist of half-day afternoon sessions held over four weeks from May 18th to June 10th, 2020. Researchers from the Center, as well as from other departments on the Washington University campus will attend.
